Dr. Sabin grew up in Maitland, Florida, a small town near Orlando. His dream, even as a small boy, was to become a doctor. He moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University. During medical school, he helped support himself as an EMT, driving an ambulance for Grady Hospital. He completed his internship and residency at Emory-affiliated hospitals, which include Grady Hospital, Crawford Long Hospital and the Veteran's Administration Medical Center. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Sabin began work as a physician in Adult Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in Duluth, Georgia. He worked there as a Lead Physician for 12 years. In 2002, Dr. Sabin felt there was a need in the community for more personalized medical care, and he opened his private practice in Snellville, Georgia.
Dr. Sabin is happily married. His beautiful wife Sharon owns a small business in Duluth. They live in the Brookhaven area of Buckhead in Atlanta after "downsizing" when all their kids graduated and left their nest. They have 4 wonderful daughters-Holly, Jessica, Deanna and Samantha-who attend Emory, Kennesaw, Georgia Southern and Gwinnett Tech.
Bruce and Sharon stay active by running, bicycling and attending a gym regularly. They love to travel, explore Atlanta, and have fun as "empty nesters." They have two "rescue" dogs, Angel and Destiny, who rule the household!
