Routine Appointments

Routine appointments are non-urgent appointments made for a specific purpose. Examples include:

  • routine follow-up for medical problems such as high cholesterol or hypertension
  • management of medications
  • discussing treatment options with your provider
  • evaluation of a non-urgent problem, such as knee pain for 2 weeks or allergy problems that persist

Routine appointments can be scheduled from 1 or 2 days to several months in advance.
