Dr. Sabin grew up in Maitland, Florida, a small town near Orlando. His dream, even as a small boy, was to become a doctor. He moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University. During medical school, he helped support himself as an EMT, driving an ambulance for Grady Hospital. He completed his internship and residency at Emory-affiliated hospitals, which include Grady Hospital, Crawford Long Hospital and the Veteran's Administration Medical Center. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Sabin began work as a physician in Adult Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in Duluth, Georgia. He worked there as a Lead Physician for 12 years. In 2002, Dr. Sabin felt there was a need in the community for more personalized medical care, and he opened his private practice in Snellville, Georgia.
Dr. Sabin lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He stays active by running and bicycling. He has two children, Samantha and Holly. Samantha is currently living and working in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Holly is attending Emory University. Dr. Sabin has two dogs, Angel and Destiny, who rule the household.
